Managing Your Policy
How to update your coverage, change what you pay, and handle renewal
How do I update my business information?
Follow the steps in your dashboard. Sign in, open the policy you need to change, and work from that policy's page: it shows you what you can edit yourself and what needs a hand. Because a policy is a description of your business, the place that description lives is the place to change it.
Steps to update:
- Sign in to your dashboard
- Open the policy you need to change
- Follow the steps shown on that policy
- Ask us for anything you cannot change yourself
If you cannot find the field you need, or the change is bigger than a detail, email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST) and we will sort it out with you. The habit that matters is updating promptly rather than waiting for renewal, because a claim is typically evaluated against what your policy says your business does.
Where are my policy documents?
In your dashboard, go to "Policies" and click "View Details" for the policy you are asking about. That view has a "Documents" section where you can download the policy files, including your policy jacket, and there is a "Download" button at the top of the policy as well.
On the policy's detail page
- • A "Documents" section
- • Your policy jacket and policy files
- • A "Download" button at the top
Under "Billing & Payments"
- • That policy's billing history
- • A receipt for each payment
- • Where payment is managed
Billing receipts sit in the "Billing & Payments" section of the same page, so everything attached to one policy is on one screen rather than scattered. If a document is missing or will not download, email support@olli.insure and we will get you a copy.
How do payments and billing work?
Your dashboard tracks what is due and shows each policy's billing history under "Billing & Payments." Payment for a policy is managed from that policy's detail page, so if you carry more than one, you handle each where it lives rather than from a single combined screen.
If a payment fails
Tell us as soon as you can so coverage is not interrupted. How long you have before coverage is affected depends on your policy and your state, so we will not quote you a universal window. Never send card details by email or chat: use the dashboard, or call us.

If a payment failed, or you need to update a card and cannot find where, email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST) so coverage is not interrupted. Do not send card details over email or chat. A failed payment is worth dealing with the same day: coverage that lapses for non-payment leaves your business unprotected, and a gap in coverage is a common question on future applications.
How do I get a receipt for taxes or expenses?
Open the policy in your dashboard and look under "Billing & Payments" on its detail page. Each payment has a receipt you can download and file with the rest of your business records.
What is deductible is a question for your accountant rather than for us, so we will not guess at it. If you need something a per-payment receipt does not give you, such as a consolidated statement across several policies, email support@olli.insure and we will put it together.
How do renewals work? When does my policy renew?
Your dashboard shows each policy's coverage start and end dates, and flags anything renewing in the next 45 days under "Expiring Soon" with a "Renew Now" option. We will also remind you when a policy is expiring soon, so a renewal should not arrive as a surprise.
What your dashboard shows
- • Each policy's coverage start and end dates
- • An "Expiring Soon" flag inside 45 days
- • A "Renew Now" option on those policies
From there you have a choice: renew on the spot, or look at different coverage options. Renewal behavior can vary from one policy to another, and a renewal price depends on the policy, so treat the notice as the moment to check the details rather than assume last year's terms carry over. The thing genuinely worth avoiding is letting a policy lapse by accident.
How do I cancel a policy? Can I get a refund?
Cancellation runs per policy. Open the policy in your dashboard and follow the steps shown for it. Because each policy is with a specific carrier, any refund or pro-rata terms follow that policy's own terms rather than a single Olli rule, so the policy documents are where the answer actually lives. If you do not see what you need, email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST).
Refunds are per policy. Whether one applies, and how it is calculated, follows the terms of the policy you are canceling. Check that policy's documents in your dashboard, or ask us and we will read them with you.
Before canceling, think about the tail. Claims can arrive after the work that caused them is finished, and a canceled policy generally does not respond to claims made after it ends. If a contract required your coverage, confirm the job is fully closed out before dropping it.
How do I add someone to my policy as an additional insured?
Each policy's detail page lists the "Covered parties" on it, so start there to see who is already named. Adding a person or an entity, for example a client who needs to be named on your certificate, is not instant self-serve: it goes through us and the carrier.
Email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST) with who needs to be added and any wording the contract asks for, and we will take it from there. Sending the contract language itself is usually faster than describing it.
Can I manage more than one business or policy in one account?
Yes. Your dashboard holds all of your policies in one place, so you can carry several at once and manage each one's documents, renewals, and payments from the same login.
If you run more than one business and want them kept separate, our team can help you set that up cleanly. Email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST) and tell us how the businesses are structured, and we will work out the right shape with you rather than guessing.
Do I need a new certificate after my policy changes?
Often, yes. A certificate of insurance is a snapshot of your coverage on the day it was generated, so after a meaningful change, such as new limits or a renewal with new policy dates, anyone holding an old certificate has stale information.
If your policy includes a certificate, you can download a current one yourself from that policy in your dashboard and send it on to whoever needs current proof. If a client needs specific wording, or needs to be named on the certificate, that goes through us and the carrier: email support@olli.insure or call 1.610.978.0507 (Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM CST) and we will help.
